The gear hanger by Vital Ground Outdoors is made from 7/64 Amsteel.  The gear hanger is a total of 6 feet in length and has multiple loops that are spliced throughout for you to attach your packs, calls, bows/rifles.  The orange loops are your attachment loops and when wrapped around the tree the excess is wrapped into a figure 9 device.  To install wrap the strap with the orange loops in the downward position around the tree.  Run the the excess around the smooth portion of the Figure 9 pulling tightly.  Next while holding tension run the strap around and through the tooth portion to secure.  You can then hang your gear.  It is recommended and advised to throw a half hitch in one of the loops to ensure it does not come undone.  The strap includes a black bungee to secure when ready to pack up.
